51-53 Warriston Crescent &

1-4 Howard Place

Edinburgh, £200,000

Carried out in two phases, this project involved extensive repairs to a B-Listed corner tenement.
Phase 1 at Howard Place employed best practice to carry out lasting repairs to the stonework and roof.
Phase 2 at Warriston Crescent was grant aided by Historic Scotland, and involved the reinstatement of original detailing and construction, particularly at roof level, which had previously suffered from inappropriate ‘modern’ methods of repair.
The end result is building, with a new lease of life, reclaiming its pivotal position on one of Edinburgh’s prime, untouched Georgian crescents.
